Happy May to all of you~

We are so excited for the Spring weather!  The flowers, the rain, the colors, the smells and the opportunity to get back to our gardening, planting, growing both outside and in our hearts!  May brings back the "mayibehealthy" group work that we started last year! Although the group continues on throughout the year, May is our time to really grow our hopes and dreams just like our flowers and trees.  We get to be in the process of rebirth and rejoicement with the world around us! If you are able to, please join out group for some inspiration for the next 31 days.  This session will be focusing on Kindness, journaling and living with limited impact as we care for ourselves and the earth around us.  We will be encouraging each other as we partake in only eating the "noble foods" provided for us by our home.  Cutting back on processed foods, sugar and animal products as we try and prepare our body for the warmer months! We will try to be outside more, take up more engaging activities that this lovely weather brings us.  If you have any questions just let us know and we are happy to help.  

The studio is buzzing with new life and activity this month.  Nicole is back to her normal schedule and will be offering 2 separate workshops in May.  Kimber will also be bringing Qigong back this month.  This month is nicknamed Meditation May because Nicole loves alliteration and because we just got through the Abs April so we have to continue the series.  :)  Meditation May will have a meditation portion at the end of every Yoga class.  It might be a light meditation or maybe a deeper one (look for that on Mondays) but each class will give you the opportunity to experience the subtle art of this incredible gift.  In addition Nicole will be offering extended sitting times on Monday and Tuesday nights if you would like to sit in meditation for 10 or 15 minutes more after the room has cleared.  You can join Nicole as she meditates at that time.  (around 8:45 to 9 pm)  

Sunday May 12th at 8:30 am to 9:30 pm is a special Mothers Day Yoga Class instead of her regular beginners yoga.  Bring your mother or your children or your wife to class and enjoy some homemade snacks afterwards and flowers.  Or come out yourself and get some mom time for an hour! 

Friday May 24th at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Nicole is offering yoga nidra and kosha mapping!  Come and rest for a bit as you listen to yoga nidra and then create a map of your energetic body as you do a kosha meditation.  A great gift for yourself and for people who enjoy diving deeper into who they are.  The price for this event covers snacks and the Kosha map itself, please sign up as soon as you can so we can be prepared for you.  Class size will be limited to 10 people due to space!  $75/person  Please pay the studio to save your spot.  This is for the mature 16 year old and up.  

Saturday May 25th 10:30 am to 12:00 pm Kimber is bringing back Qigong!  

Friday May 31st 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Windy is back with her famous Astrology and Numerology 101 $75/ person.  Link will be on the facebook event once it is published.  

Nicole will be out of the studio May 18th and 19th as she runs the Yoga tents at Karma Fest at Oregon Ridge.  Scott will be covering for her those days! Liz will be teaching donation yoga on the 11th!
